Burwell Community Sports Centre is registered as a charity and was opened in 1983 through the fundraising efforts of the residents of the village and grant aid from East Cambridgeshire District Council.
Located in the heart of Burwell, the Sports Centre offers an array of sport and leisure for the local community and surrounding area.

We run lots of activities for children of school age and pre-school children, as well as activities during the school holidays. Our Mature and Active sessions for the over 55s are hugely popular.
Our Facilities​
Sports Hall
Hire costs for main hall are £9 per hour per court/ £18 for half hall /£36 for entire hall.​

Large Studio
The hire cost for the studio is £22 per hour
​
​​3G Astro Turf ​
The hire cost for the astro is £36 an hour but at the w/e if you book for two hours the cost is £50.​

Social Area / ​​​​​​​​​Licenced Bar (Available on request)
​
The whole centre or parts of it can be hired for events. Costs are dependent on the facilities you need and the staffing that may or may not be required. You should contact the centre manager for details.

The centre, as you might expect, does have changing rooms and free car parking​​​​​ .
Opening Hours
​
The centre is normally open at the following times and someone will be available at reception to meet your needs:
Monday – Wednesday - (10:00 – 12:00 / 17:00 – 21:00)
Thursday – Friday (17:00 – 21:00)
Sun – (09:00 – 12:00)

The centre may well be open at other times depending on what has been booked in.
